Successful Seaboard Wildlife Walk April 11th

What a great morning  – 9 people came and enjoyed a walk round the lighthouse cliffs and beaches. Sea watching was wonderful with two species of divers – great northern and black throated, plus the following purple sandpiper, golden plover, snipe, gannets, shag, fulmar, guillemot, black guillemot, puffin, eider, common scoter.

Additionally we spotted 2 Harbour Porpoise and 4 Grey Seal.
From our creels we picked up a juvenile Cod and Scorpion fish.

From the caves around the lighthouse we found otter spraint too.
