Lake District - Easy Lake District - Energetic Yorkshire Dales - Easy Lake District - Easy - North Lakes Day 1 Arrival A chance to meet your fellow guests. Day 2 A tour of Borrowdale: From the beautiful village of Grange we will explore the Borrowdale valley to Rosthwaite and then climb to the National Trust farm at Watendlath, where we can enjoy a cup of tea before walking back into Borrowdale along wooded slopes. Day 3 Seathwaite to Langstrath: From the 2000 year old Yew trees of Seathwaite we will climb Great Gable before dropping into Langstrath, one of Cumbria’s finest hidden valleys. Day 4 Helvellyn: Ascend one of the highest peaks in England by one of its famous rocky ridges, Striding Edge. Followed by a leisurely descent into Grisedale. Day 5 Blencathra: Called Saddleback by Victorian walkers, Blencathra gives spectacular views of the northern fells and provides the walker with an exciting days walk. Depart after 4pm. Lake District - Energetic - South Lakes Day 1 Arrival A chance to meet your fellow guests. Day 2 Ascent of Scafell from Langdale: Climb to the summit of England’s highest mountain, a challenging day over rough paths and past upland tarns. Day 3 Wetherlam and Coniston Old Man: Starting in the village of Coniston this circular route takes in one of the Lake District's most famous peaks and gives you a chance to explore the industrial heritage of the slate mines of the area. Day 4 Langdale PiKes and Crinkle Crags: Climb the Langdale Pikes and cross the Langdale valley to find a hidden route up to the summit of Bowfell. Day 5 Fairfield Horseshoe: A stunning route starting and finishing in Ambleside. The summit ridge gives unsurpassed views across the central fells. Depart after 4pm. Yorkshire Dales - Easy - Week in Ribblesdale Day 1 Arrival A chance to meet your fellow guests. Day 2 Ingleborough and Gaping Gill: A comfortable day over the famous gritstone moorland examining spectacular cave entrances like Gaping Gill plunging 340 feet into the depths. Includes an ascent of Ingleborough giving wonderful views over the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Day 3 Ingleton Falls: A charming days' walk exploring waterfalls, glens, wooded ravines and crags. Passing the famous Thornton Force, this walk climbs into Kingsdale before traversing the limestone crags of Twistleton Scars. Day 4 Ease Gill to Great Coum: A walk of contrasts - begin by trekking through a dry river gorge followed by a moorland ramble to the summit of Great Coum, with views into Dentdale and the Howgills. Day 5 Horton-in-Ribblesdale to Pen-y-Ghent and Plover Hill: Start the walk in limestone meadows and climb to the summit of Pen-y-Ghent (Hill of the Winds). Depart after 4pm.
