Develop your map and compass skills on our accredited two day course. Outdoor exercises will be used to reinforce classroom learning and to test the participant's abilities in the outdoors. The course will examine types and parts of a map, contours, topography, scale, orienting a map, determining bearings and distances and map grids.

Participants will work towards assessment for Bronze and Silver Awards for National Navigation Award Scheme which are validated to a national standard.
