Unless the conditions are such dangerous the programme will continue as planned, or with only minor changes. The leader will make this judgment, based upon the forecast, and his or her knowledge of the area. Minor changes could include reversing the route so that the group is not walking into the prevailing wind, altering the order of the walks so that the one with the most shelter is saved for the bad weather day, or shortening the walk and retreating to a welcoming pub or tearoom! Occasionally a route has to be changed part way through in the event that the weather deteriorates unexpectedly, but usually the leader is able to make the judgment well beforehand. If you do decide that you would prefer not to walk on a particular day the choice is yours, and the leader will not be offended. Because these are single centre tours it never causes a logistical problem if you decide to stay behind at the hotel.
